Glucono Delta Lactone is obtained by oxidizing glucose to gluconic acid or a salt thereof, and purifying, desalting, decolorizing, concentrating and crystallizing. Glucone lactone white crystal or crystalline powder, odorless, tastes sweet and bitter, sour taste.

Used as a coagulant, stabilizer, sour agent, preservative and preservative in the food industry, it is a multifunctional food additive. With the development of the food industry, GDL is increasingly used in the food industry.
